Description Oren Held 2009-11-02 11:04:08 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

Reproduce:
1. Make sure an MP3 file is read-only for the user running amarok.
2. Add this MP3 to Amarok's playlist
3. Right click -> Edit track details
4. Modify something and save

Results:
Amarok is updated with the modified detail, yet nothing was written to this file. This is very misleading.

Expected results:
- An error dialog (like in Amarok 1).
- Amarok internal track data shouldn't be changed if the tag couldn't be written for any reason.

Which exact version of Amarok is that?
Comment 2 Oren Held 2009-11-02 12:55:42 UTC
