Version: (using KDE 4.3.2) OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages In the Dutch translation of KMail, an e-mail address appears as the first header in the list of attachments in the e-mail creator. I think the column should be called 'File' (or 'Bestand' in Dutch). The mail address is fDOTdeDOTkruiff@googlesmail.com (obfuscated), who I think is the translator.

Can you please attach the result of running msgunfmt /usr/share/locale-langpack/nl/LC_MESSAGES/kmail.mo | grep "collumn attachment name" -a4 You might need to install the gettext package for it to work
Created attachment 37835 [details] Output of msgunfmt /usr/share/locale-langpack/nl/LC_MESSAGES/kmail.mo | grep "collumn attachment name" -a4>msgunfmt_nl_kmail_mo_output.txt Certainly. The e-mail address is in line 19.
By the way, the correct translation for 'Name' is 'Naam'.
As you can see the KDE translations are correct http://websvn.kde.org/branches/stable/l10n-kde4/nl/messages/kdepim/kmail.po?view=markup http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/l10n-kde4/nl/messages/kdepim/kmail.po?view=markup So this problem you are seeing is probably another good job from our friends at the Ubuntu translation team. Go to their bug reporting facility and tell them about not touching our translations to make them worse.
You're right. Thanks. Sorry for reporting this here.

Nah, this was (past tense) a problem with the KDE localization itself. (for once... it's not unexpected that Launchpad would get the blame given its reputation however) See: http://websvn.kde.org/tags/KDE/4.3.2/kde-l10n/nl/messages/kdepim/kmail.po?revision=HEAD&view=markup It has since been fixed, though: http://websvn.kde.org/?view=revision&revision=1039871 We have since fixed the string in Rosetta and will prepare an upload that will make an update fixing the string available after the user has installed 9.10.
