The reporter sent me an email: -------- I managed the video files 2nd time around but then the same thing happened with the picture folder. Tried the Dolphin split mode and worked in a fashion but was quite hesitant transferring the files over. Occasionally Dolphin has been slow or reluctant to do multi-file operations so I decided to turn off the notifications and it did seem to run smoother although without the notifications you can not tell when a file has finished transferring. --- /offtopic . If you disable the Plasma file-transfer notifications, you should get an "old-style"(KDE3) dialogs showing the trasfer progress.
