What I was doing when the application crashed:
This crash still happens with 4.3.1. As far as I can tell, there is a small (random) chance of Plasma crashing on each desktop switch. I have not been able to find any sure-fire way to cause it (other than to switch desktops repeatedly, until it happens).

I had to take the systray out of Plasma, and use a non-KDE systray instead because of this, the crash is often enough...

I an using e16 as my window manager, and normally switch desktops via e16 keyboard shortcuts. I have 12 desktops, and switch between them fairly frequently, and see this crash anywhere from several times per day (if I'm doing a lot of switching) to once every several days (if I'm mainly on one desktop).

This is a Debian testing/unstable system, mostly testing.
