Version: (using KDE 4.3.2) OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages I have a single folder view widget on my desktop, with filters set to only show the files types I want. Navigating via the popup previews shows said files (eg ehthumbs.db, desktop.ini, kiool.txt~,etc). The shown folder in the widget itself doesn't show these files but it would seem the filters aren't applied to the popup previews. I figure it's a bug.
Upgraded to 4.4 beta 2 on kubuntu and behavior is still the same.
still valid on kde 4.4.4 i asked to hide some files but they appear on the tooltip
confirmed on KDE 4.7
