Description Marc Schiffbauer 2009-10-03 20:06:23 UTC
Version:            (using KDE 4.3.1)
Installed from:    Gentoo Packages

I wanted to install a plasmoid that can be donwloaded from a webpage:

http://code.google.com/p/mpdplasma/ -> Featured Downloads
At the time I am writing: http://mpdplasma.googlecode.com/files/mpd-plasma-0.2.5.plasmoid

I downloaded the .plasmoid file and after download I wanted to add this to the plasma desktop.

-> Add Mini-Program
-> New Plasmoid from lokal file
-> In filedialog seleced the file -> OK

after this nothing happens. The new plasmoid is not in the list of available plasmoids.
And there is zero feedback to the user. No OK, no Failed, no nothing...

and if you run kbuildsycoca4 and re-open the add widgets dialog?

I ran kbuildsycoca4 and re-opened the add widgets dialog. Still the same problem.

Does it work for you?
