Description Barry Jackson 2009-09-27 23:39:57 UTC
Version: 1.0 (using KDE 4.3.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs

If a panel icon (e.g. systemsettings icon) is right clicked and icon settings is selected, and then edited and OK'ed to save, then the systemsettings icon becomes a ? icon.
The file ~/.local/share/applications/kde4/systemsettings.desktop has no "icon=" entry.
This happens whatever the icon e.g. Firefox, Dolphin etc.
If the icons are replaced either manually or by using systemsettings GUI then the icon displays normally and is not lost on subsequent edits of the .desktop file.
