Version: 2.1.90 (using 4.3.1 (KDE 4.3.1), Debian packages) Compiler: cc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.31-0.slh.3-sidux-686 Amarok1 had the very useful option to filter the playlist for multiple terms with AND and OR. Amarok2 only allows one keyword. But in large playlists it's (at least for me) important to be able to search for different terms e.g. to temporarily shorten the playlist to only play specific bands (e.g. slade OR quo) on-the-fly without recreating the playlist.
You can combine filtering and searching for now, isn't that enough?
No? a) I cannot filter/search for more than one artist. But maybe you can tell me how. b) Typing is faster than clicking something together combined with typing. c) The search bar in the collection pane does use AND and OR - so the playlist should too because of consistency.
Right now we can't do much because we're in deep feature freeze. We'll look into it after 2.2.

I miss this feature a lot too. I like having an ever growing playlist, and used to filter the bands out, which I liked at the time, using the playlist search. But as said before, it isn't possible to search for more than one artist because the "OR" operator is missing :/ Would be nice if this functionality could be added soon... mfg, chris
At the moment, entering foo bar searches for "foo bar", but not for foo AND bar. So, enter bar foo means something different. I would like to have this feature from amarok 1.4 back, too.
