Description jozzek 2009-08-28 13:50:37 UTC
Application that crashed: plasma-desktop
Version of the application: 0.3
KDE Version: 4.3.00 (KDE 4.3.0)
Qt Version: 4.5.2
Operating System: Linux 2.6.29.6-217.2.8.fc11.i686.PAE i686
Distribution: "Fedora release 11 (Leonidas)"

What I was doing when the application crashed:
Plasma crashed after uplugging remuvable USB device (SD card from usb reader). At the same time, two instances of Dolphin were opened. Plasma succeeded to restart in another process (visible from ksysguard), original was stopped and took 12.3M in memory and 22.6 on disk. After that, combination SIGUSR1+SIGUSR2+SIGCONT to it was successfull (SIGUSR1 probably not needed).

Cheers, Jože

- Can you reproduce the crash with the situation and steps you described ?
If you can, can you install the "kdebase4-workspace-debuginfo" package to get a more complete backtrace ?
Thanks
