I tryed to open samba share indicating full path instead of only IP (that is to say smb://192.168.1.1/Users/Paolo instead of smb://192.168.1.1), i inserted my user/pass and it worked well! (the url has changed in smb://Paolo@192.168.1.1/Users/Paolo after correctly accessing the samba share)
Using this workaround it let me go back to smb://Paolo@192.168.1.1 changing the address in the navigation bar (just removing /Users/Paolo) and it worked well!
I noticed the username in the URL of samba address, so I tryed to open a new instance of Dolphin (closing the previous one), but now instead of inserting only smb://192.168.1.1, I inserted smb://Paolo@192.168.1.1 and it worked well.
So, i think the problem is in the handling of samba username.
Feel free to ask me any further detail.

Is this with Windows XP Pro as the smb server?
