Description Malte S. Stretz 2009-07-25 23:01:32 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.98)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

It should be possible to use a VCard Directory resource as an Akonadi source from KAddressBook. But this doesn't work: If you add such a source via Manage Address Book Sources, it doesn't appear in the list in the Resource Configuration dialog (nor the Address Book list in the main window). VCard File resources and Distribution lists do work.
Comment 1 Tobias Koenig 2009-08-05 16:44:02 UTC
The development of the old KAddressBook will be discontinued for KDE 4.4.
Since the new application has the same name, but a completly new code base we close all bug reports against the old version and ask the submitters to resend there reports against the new product.
Comment 2 Malte S. Stretz 2009-08-05 16:48:39 UTC
Can you fix this in the 4.3 branch anyway? Or the Directory resource should be completely disabled.
Comment 3 Tobias Koenig 2009-08-05 16:53:06 UTC
The old KAddressBook will be disconinued in KDE 4.4. Plesae report you bugs against the new version of KAddressBook.
