Description Oliver Putz 2009-06-28 19:51:39 UTC
Version: 2.1.1 (using 4.2.4 (KDE 4.2.4), Gentoo)
Compiler: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.28-gentoo-r6

Steps to reproduce:

1) Start amarok
2) Go to Jamendo.com service
4) Try to download some album or song via the amarok download buttons

Whenever I try this, I always get an error message like:

An error occurred while loading the torrent /tmp/kde-oliver/amarokbK9110.torrent:
Illegal token: 104
The torrent is probably corrupt or is not a valid torrent file.

The ktorrent version I use is:

KTorrent
Version 3.2.2
Using KDE 4.2.4 (KDE 4.2.4)

Downloading the same song or album directly via jamendo.com works fine, so I assume that this is rather a bug in amarok than in ktorrent or jamendo...

If you need any further debugging information, just tell me and I'll be happy to provide it.

Nikolaj, could this be API related?
Comment 2 Nikolaj Hald Nielsen 2009-08-02 17:28:44 UTC
Quite possible
Comment 3 Nikolaj Hald Nielsen 2009-08-04 12:00:30 UTC
Fixed in commit 6c74dec7c76f0556bb98a2e7f61829e69006ba98

... nasty evil Jamendo are doing weird tings and linking to a link to the torrent instead of linking to it directly...
Comment 4 Nikolaj Hald Nielsen 2009-08-04 12:01:17 UTC
aaaand remember to close it....
