Description Dan Kegel 2009-06-26 00:13:58 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.3)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Users familiar with MS Windows are surprised when they browse
their network with Konqueror because they see strange shares
with names ending in $. These shares are described at
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314984
The $ is taken by MS client software to mean 'hidden',
rather like the '.' on front of hidden files in Unix.

These shares should not be shown to users unless users select
'Show hidden files'.

Pushed by adawit into branch 'KDE/4.11'.

Mark files that end with '$' as hidden files in the UDS entry.
