Version: (using KDE 4.2.85) OS: Linux Installed from: SuSE RPMs A picture is worth a thousand word, will attach one ASAP, but if I can't, here is the problem: sometime, when left-clicking on nm plasmoid, it shows the WIFI networks, ethernet info and such all one on top of the other. Also, it shows my hidden network several times, without its name...
Created attachment 34223 [details] screen capture of nm plasmoid display As you can see from picture, there are overlapping lines of ethernet and wireless parts. That does not always happen. Sometime, like after reboot or suspend/resume or log out+in, I can't really say, the display is OK, though. What does not work in any case is that is shows my hidden WIFI network several times (4 in attached picture), and does not show its name. Finally, as I am paranoid, I removed my network name between the "" next to Connected. That part works fine.

I have seen this problem as well a similar problem where the nm plasmoid display goes bad when the wireless card is ejected and re-inserted. I am attaching the screenshots. nw-app-good.jpg when everything is nice and clean. nw-app-notgood.jpg when I displayed after re-insertion of the card. OS: Linux 2.6.27.23-0.1-pae i686 Current user: shiverma@nirvana System: openSUSE 11.1 (i586) KDE: 4.2.95 (KDE 4.2.95 (KDE 4.3 RC1)) "release 139" I think I goofed up in adding the attachments, I added them before the comment got posted. I apologize for the mistake.
