Version: 1.0 (using KDE 4.2.3) Compiler: gcc (Gentoo 4.3.2-r4 p1.7, pie-10.1.5) 4.3.2 OS: Linux Installed from: Gentoo Packages Hello, keep up the great work with KDE. I created an empty user account and started KDE4. In the KDE Menu, I typed "wpa" and two results appeared: One is the "WPA Supplicant Administration GUI" with its icon, which is fine. The other result is wpa_gui-wpa_supplicant.desktop, with the default Gear icon; however, it is the same file as the correct WPA GUI entry above described. The same situation occurs with other non-kde applications like Mozilla Firefox, the OpenOffice suite, Skype, g3data, wxmaxima, xine, mplayer... However, and curiously, it does not occur with KDE applications. There is no noticeable aspect in the structures of the applications' .desktop files that might lead to the bug.
