Description Ola Røer Thorsen 2009-05-06 09:18:27 UTC
Version: 3.5 (using 4.2.2 (KDE 4.2.2), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.28-11-generic

On my laptop (Dell XPS M1710), there are stereo loudspeakers and a subwoofer. Unfortunately, the volume settings for these are split into "Master" for the lodspeakers and "LFE" for the sub.

When I use the master channel in the systray, I can only use one at the time. This means it's not possible to for example set the volume with the mouse wheel properly, as I need to go into the mixer window and set Master and LFE. It's also a problem when using the laptop's volume buttons.

It would be nice to have some option to link the LFE to the master channel volume, to avoid this. The LFE volume should just follow the Master volume.
