Description madengineer10 2009-05-06 04:33:11 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Plasma hangs and has to be killed and restarted if user attempts to unmount a flash drive that is busy via the device-notifier widget. (Optical discs appear to work correctly: a dialog box comes up notifying the user that the medium is in use and can't be unmounted.)

Steps to reproduce:
Insert a flash drive and mount it by clicking on the device's name in the device-notifier widget.
In a console window, change the working directory to a directory on the flash drive.
Click the "eject" icon displayed by the flash drive's name in the device-notifier widget.
