Description grysnakh 2009-05-05 13:44:54 UTC
Version: 1.0.5 (using KDE 3.5.10)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

Iam using debian AMD64 testing branch with gnome desktop. K3b crashes when data verification is demanded after CD burning (not tested with DVD).
After burn it eject CD and waiting in infinite loop - problably for ejected cd. It doesnt recover when cd is inserted back manually.
It is possibly caused by "Do not eject medium after write process" function, which is off by default. Turning this on overrides problem.

Its true, that mentioned function does what it says, but makes program unstable. It should eject CD after verification, not imediately after write.

In an attempt to clean up old bugs that are not valid for K3b 2.0 (=KDE SC 4.x port) anymore, this is now being marked as UNMAINTAINED.
If this bug is still valid for 2.0, please reopen it.
