Description Philip Smith 2009-05-05 13:13:24 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

The forward and backward arrow buttons which appear when you hover over a RSSNOW title no longer work.
Instead clicking them just brings up the article as would happen clicking anywhere else on the headline away from the arrows.
This bug report is with Fedora 10's latest update: kdeplasma-addons-4.2.2-2.fc10.x86_64
See also what looks like the identical bug in ubuntu:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/336045

For Fedora 10, I believe it was the change from
kdeplasma-addons-4.2.0-1.fc10.x86_64
to
kdeplasma-addons-4.2.1-1.fc10.x86_64

Doesn't work for me either. Using Kubuntu Jaunty and Kde 4.2.3
Comment 2 Aaron J. Seigo 2009-05-12 03:16:37 UTC
what version of Qt?

(it works here in trunk just fine)
Comment 3 Bruno Menegola 2009-05-12 03:32:51 UTC
Qt 4.5.1. Not using trunk (I believe). Gonna check it out
Comment 4 Aaron J. Seigo 2009-05-12 07:42:51 UTC
hrm. i wonder if this another kde 4.2 + qt 4.5 bug.
Comment 5 Philip Smith 2009-05-12 12:50:21 UTC
qt-4.5.0-14.fc10.x86_64 for me with fully patched Fedora 10.
Comment 6 Rex Dieter 2009-05-12 17:13:46 UTC
I'll try to test with qt-4.4.x to see if this is a qt-4.5-ism.
Comment 7 Bruno Menegola 2009-08-06 04:54:49 UTC
It seems to be fixed in KDE 4.3 and Qt 4.5.2. Someone else can confirm this?
Comment 8 Rex Dieter 2009-08-06 05:04:28 UTC
confirmed ok here with qt-4.5.2/kde-4.3.0 too. stick a fork in it.
