Description Anders Lund 2009-05-03 19:15:23 UTC
Version: 4.1 (using 4.2.2 (KDE 4.2.2), Arch Linux)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.29-ARCH

Typing in the quick filter in kaddressbook is impossible, because when a new contact becomes current that have more than one email address the typing is blocked by TWO prompts titled "Select email address". It does not matter if I press return og esc, and the dialog comes up next time the contact is selected by the filtering again.

I find this extremely grave. It is about impossible to use kaddressbook to find a contact.

The development of the old KAddressBook will be discontinued for KDE 4.4.
Since the new application has the same name, but a completly new code base we close all bug reports against the old version and ask the submitters to resend there reports against the new product.
