Description Stephan Sokolow 2009-05-03 08:42:31 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.2)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources

The disk space plasmoid treats blocks reserved for root as free and twice, because of this, I've ended up with a completely full root partition because it said I had more free space than I really did.

For example, at present, I have 135.2GiB free on my root partition according to the plasmoid and 112G according to `df -h`. The "missing" 23 gigabytes are reserved for root's use in emergencies and as "elbow room" for the fragmentation-avoidance algorithms. (The default mke2fs uses is 5% of the partition)
