Description Aurelien Grosdidier 2009-04-15 19:22:03 UTC
Version: 2.0.1 (using KDE 4.2.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Most of the time, when the pause button is pressed when playing streams or mp3 or oggs, Amarok2 2.0.2 64 bits crashes with SIGSEGV. Unfortunately, the KDE crash handler is not able to generate an valid backtrace.
Comment 1 Mark Kretschmann 2009-04-15 19:36:23 UTC
This is almost guaranteed to be a backend problem - not Amarok's fault.

Amarok 2 uses the KDE component Phonon for playback, which itself can use multiple backends. On Linux, we currently recommend using the Phonon-xine backend, which is the most stable one.
