Description spam2trash 2009-04-11 18:19:07 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Playing high resolution flac audio files with 24 bit 96.000 KHz (ripped from vinyl LPs) produces unlistenable distortions.
Audio files ripped from CDs with 16 bit 48.000 KHz just works fine.
Tested with various players amarok(distorts), xine(distorts), alsaplayer(crashes).

PS with gnome 'Quod Libet' player (using gstreamer as backend?) I can play them without any problems.
