Description Julian Weißgerber 2009-04-10 13:19:01 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

It would be useful if Konqueror was able to autosave a session on close so it can be re-opened when Konqueror is launched again.

To my understanding to preserve a Konqueror session without having to manually save/restore the session is to leave Konqueror running until logout and have it be restored on the next login by the KDE session management. This is pretty useless to people who want to close just their browser and not log out, or don't want their whole KDE session to be restored at all.

Interestingly, Konqueror's crash recovery autosaves it's current session but deletes it when the browser is closed correctly. It only persists if Konqueror crashes or gets killed.
