Version: (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

The finddialog box displays some of the Jupiter and Saturn moons twice, both entries pointing to the same object. Example : Io or Dione.

Confirmed
Comment 2 Burkhard Lück 2009-06-19 11:00:25 UTC
some more issues with the find dialog from trunk r983142:

- the entries are untranslatable here, even if tey are translated in the map e.g. the constellation names

- 10 empty items at the beginning, displayed when "All" or "Stars" is used as Filter
Comment 3 Jérôme SONRIER 2009-12-20 00:54:38 UTC
Rhea, Europa, Dione and Io appear twice because there are asteroids with the same name. Maybe we need a column to print the type of objects in find dialog and a function to search an object by name AND by type.

Oh, that explains the bug, but both the entries in finddialog point to the moons.
I think we need a better function than find by name for getting the skyobject from a given string.

Doesn't the combo box take care of the type? I think we have the filter by type implemented in find dialog.

Can confirm Jupiter moon are repeated.
Comment 6 Csaba Kertész 2017-07-29 08:00:10 UTC
The planet moons have been removed from the current program (except Moon) a half year ago thus this issue is not reproducible anymore.
