Version: 0.9.0-pre-alpha (using 4.2.2 (KDE 4.2.2) "release 111", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.1) Compiler: gcc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.27.19-3.2-default Kaffeine is able to scan for the DVB-T channels but when trying to view them, it can't find a necessary plugin "demultiplexer". With Kaffeine3 it works.
are you double clicking on the channel entries? (single click is enough; double click produces that error ...)
Same here: "Cannot find demultiplexer plugin for the given media data" Kaffeine scan and tune the channels, if you double click on a channel on the list you have that error. Every kind of codec and interface is installed: w32codec libxine1 phonon-backend* This has been happening for a long period. Kaffeine from kde3 ever worked. DVB: Asus Saa7131 Hybrid Kaffeine version: 4.2.2.svn951439-7.2 (this happens from a lot of previous versions I tried) from KDE:KDE4:Factory:Extra-Apps opensuse repository.
Same to me. When trying to view channels tuned previously, the message "Cannot find demultiplexer plugin for the given media data" appears. It happens this way: You tune the channels with the automatic exploration option. Once you have the channels in the left pannel, if you click one time on a channel, it seems like the channel is changing (The OSD displays information about the new channel selected), but nothing else happens. Then you click once more (no double click) and then the message appears twice. Thanks Juan

The same error for me. My environment is: Opensuse 11.2 Kde 4.3.1 Kaffeine 0.9+1.0pre2 libxine1 1.1.16.1 libxine1-pulse 1.1.16.1 w32codec-all 20071007-pm.1.1 livavcodec52 0520796svn-0.pm.1.5 In addition I noticed that Kaffeine can detect the DVB-T device if I plug the dongle after it has been started.
fixed in 1.0-pre3
