I had about 8 windows of gwenview open with pictures all from the same directory. I renamed the directory and all of the gwenview apps crashed simultaneously. The crash is reproducible on my system.

Here using 4.3trunk: I can reproduce this crash. I'm getting something similar to bug 188807 (the situation is nearly the same but when using Konqueror). Seems to be a KIO issue. I let the decision to the Gwenview devs. 
In order to reproduce this bug you may need to rename the folder currently showing, two times.. after renaming its parent folder sometimes too.

I can't reproduce it here. I guess Dario is right about this being the same as 188807. Please reopen if it is not the case.
