Version:           0.70.0 (using 4.2.1 (KDE 4.2.1), Arch Linux)
Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.28-ARCH

The search filter in the main window does not support searching for email address.
Yust think at this situation:
I want to search for a contact in my enormous contact list (mine is not that big :-P ); the contact I'm searching for changes his nick and his status message quite everyday, it's impossible to remember them; the only thing that is always the same is his email address.
I type his email address but the search provides no resoults.
So I have to scroll the whole contact list to find him on my own.
That's frustrating...

It's only designed to search for contact names.

Changing the version it was fixed in from 4.7.0 to 4.6.2 -- see commit 1223777.
