Hi,

i am a newbie to Linux and just installed Kubuntu. I was prompted to install the updates. On doing so, while the updates were being installed, I got the following Message int eh KDE Deamon.

Thanks for the bug report! This issue is known already, I'll mark it as a duplicate.

BTW: KDE 4.0.5 is really outdated, I would strongly recommend you to install a newer version. The latest Kubuntu release (8.10) ships KDE 4.1.2 by default, and you can upgrade it to 4.2.0, see http://www.kubuntu.org/news/kde-4.2
