Description Igor Mironchick 2009-02-19 10:21:49 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Background of the panel doesn't update under icons in the system tray. For example, when KDE is starting first icon drawn normally in tray, but another icons use not updated background (garbage from previous icon).

It's very simple to reproduce this bug. Give time to the KDE for starting. Then lunch amarok. He draws his icon like a circle with a wolf (or dog). Then start, for example, kwallet (next app have to have another geometrical form of the icon than circle). And you will see wallet on the amarok icon...

Can you post some screenshots?
This is probably a duplicate of bug 158094 (already fixed in Qt4.5 and qt-copy)

Mh, It's probably the same bug but I'm not really sure. Do you experience this also in another KDE applications? (like the KMix tray icon) too ?
Comment 5 Igor Mironchick 2009-02-20 17:24:34 UTC
Yes, it doesn't depend on the KDE app. I saw the same with kmix too. And with klipper...
