Description madgenius 2009-02-12 16:27:38 UTC
Version: 0.70.0 (using 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0) "release 93", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.0)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.25.20-0.1-default

Kopete changes metacontact details at each login. I have created metacontacts for two of my friends (who are on yahoo, gtalk and MSN), but now they are appearing as one metacontact.

I have had to remove my friends from the list, and add them again.

I don't understand this report. The whole point of the metacontact is to combine contacts across multiple protocols into a single entity so that you only have one thing to click on in the contact list. I can't tell if that's how you have it set up or not. Could you provide some more specific details?

If you could provide the information requested in the comment #1 and then reopen this bug, we'll take another look at fixing it if it's still a problem
