Description Henrik Skov Midtiby 2009-02-12 09:34:55 UTC
Version:           0.7.3 (using KDE 4.1.3)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

When viewing a page in the last half of a multipage document and the view mode is changed from "Two page" to "Single page", the currently viewed page is changed to the last page in the document.

How to reproduce
* Open a large document with more than 40 pages
* Change to "Two page" viewing mode
* Locate a page in the second half (eg. page 30 for a 40 page document)
* Change to "Single page" viewing mode
* You will now see the last page of the document.

Expected behaviour
* The current viewed page should be unchanged during changes in the viewing mode.

Best
Henrik

I just noticed a related issue / bug. When changing the viewmode from Fullscreen to windowed, the current location in the document can be altered.

How to reproduce:
* Open a document in okular with several pages
* Look at one of the pages in the second half of your document using the Single page viewmode
* Enable full screen
* Disable full screen
* The last page of the document is now shown.

Expected behaviour
* No change in the viewed page when closing the fullscreen mode.

Best
Henrik

Hi Henrik, i can no longer reproduce this bug with okular 0.14.3 (the one that comes with KDE 4.8.3) so I am closing the bug.

If you update to that version or a later one and you still have the problem please reopen this bug.

Thanks for caring about Okular :-)
