Description Emil Kaczmarek 2009-02-10 21:05:28 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS: MS Windows
Installed from: MS Windows

When I run few instances of konqueror (or any other kde app) using the binaries installed via installer downloaded from http://windows.kde.org/ every single instance takes the same amount of memory as the first one i.e. 4 instances of konqueror take around 80 megs of RAM and everytime I have few kde apps running quite a lot of kioslaves processes start in background, and every single kioslave takes around 13 megs of RAM. Also, when I exit all kde apps still few kde processes remain (i.e. dwm, kded4, klauncher, kioslave, kwalletd).

Don't trust the task manager... it doesn't show what you want to see
