Description Jake Sallee 2009-02-10 02:22:34 UTC
Version:            (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

even though i've selected a custom shadow color in Personal Settings, kwin is not drawing shadows for windows.

menus and mouse-over pop-ups for the system tray are drawing them perfectly.

mouse-overs for icons in the panel do not (like kick-off, the clock).

windows display a slight grey shadow but should be displaying the colored shadow.

shadows are enabled, using openGL. kwin effects work perfectly.

using nvidia driver 180.22

There are two bugs in this report:

1) Shadow color is not being applied. I have fixed this in 4.2.1.
2) Shadows are not being applied to shaped windows.

Marking as a duplicate of bug 157353 as it's the only one that is still valid.
