Description furue 2009-02-09 21:48:36 UTC
Version:            (using KDE 3.5.10)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Debian testing/unstable Packages

Okular crashes right away when launched. It does so on all PDF files I've tried so far.

I'm not familiar with this bug tracking system and I don't know if I can attach a sample file that causes the error.

Here is a sample error message:

okular(21299) KLocalePrivate::initEncoding: Cannot resolve system encoding, defaulting to ISO 8859-1.
ASSERT: "genericServiceTypePtr" in file /tmp/buildd/kde4libs-4.1.0/kdecore/services/kmimetypetrader.cpp, line 107
KCrash: Application 'okular' crashing...
sock_file=/home/amakihi/furue/.kde4/socket-amakihi/kdeinit4__0
Warning: connect() failed: : No such file or directory
KCrash cannot reach kdeinit, launching directly.
drkonqi(21300) KLocalePrivate::initEncoding: Cannot resolve system encoding, defaulting to ISO 8859-1.

Ryo
