Description Unknown 2009-02-07 00:34:02 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

There is no option in any of the power settings profiles (System Settings->Advanced->Power Management->Edit Profiles), to switch off monitor when the computer is idle for some time.

I have no screesaver selected (I even tried the Blank screensaver), but the monitor doesn't switch off automatically after some inactivity (there is no option for that anywhere also).

Could you please fix the power options to include this very important option, as this will save power a lot?

Thanks a lot...

If you can try, there is an option on SS/General/Display/Power Control
