I like my pager set to 2x2 layout (I've got four 2560x1024 desktops. That's a LOT of width if it's anything-by-one) but I'd like to be able to use the slide animation as if the desktops are laid out 4x1.

Ideally, I'd also like them laid out in a loop so going from desktop 4 to desktop 1 involves a single-desktop slide to the right rather than a four-desktop slide to the left.

Will be fixed at the same time as bug 105779, hopefully before 4.3.
