Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

Compress and extract (among other actions) are gone from the servicemenu in Konqueror 4.1.3. It is true such entries can be added using utilities such as Service Menu Manager

but still it would be a good idea to bring them back in Konqueror 4.1.3 and future versions as default actions.
Instead, for folders, Konqueror 4.1.3 offers only many actions related to archiving and encrypting.

Moreover, I found it very uncomfortable to compress files and folders in Konqueror 4.1.3 (KDE 4.1.3) since "drag-and-drop" files into applications such as Ark does not work.

Ark in KDE 4.2 provides those.
