Description Manuel Amador (Rudd-O) 2009-01-30 23:00:04 UTC
Version: 0.70.0 (using 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0), 4.2.0-4.fc10 Fedora)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.28

When I set a command for any of the events (case in point, incoming message), it does not get executed. Sound plays if a sound fie is selected, but the file is not executed. For whatever event.
Comment 1 Manuel Amador (Rudd-O) 2009-01-30 23:00:26 UTC
btw the command has been verified to run if I run it within konsole.
Comment 2 Costin Grigoras 2009-02-15 23:27:55 UTC
I confirm, command line notifications don't work any more. And another ugly bug is that every time I click back to the notification I want to set the "%" is transformed in "%25", then next time in "%2525" and so on. Anyway, the command is certainly not called.
Comment 3 Manuel Amador (Rudd-O) 2009-02-16 09:13:59 UTC
Oh, WOW you are right about the % being turned into %25! Do you know where else this happens? In the accessibility, text to speech submodule in systemsettings! When you try to put a command to synthesise text, this happens:

This appears to happen everywhere when commands are accepted. Pretty lousy bug that should have been caught earlier

I still seem to have part of this bug in Kopete Version 0.80.2 Unter KDE 4.3.3 (KDE 4.3.3) "release 3" - the execution works fine on event "incoming message", but doesn't on "outgoing message". The command is identical (copy&paste)
