Description Nicolas Cavallari 2009-01-29 18:39:24 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

RFC states that "The default character set for an iCalendar object is UTF-8 as defined in RFC 2279." unless the MIME source specify a content-encoding.

yet korganiser use QString::fromLocal8Bit when loading from a local utf-8 encoding file, resulting in garbage instead of accented letters.

Encoding problems where fixed during the akonadi port.
Try 4.6.
