Description Uqbar 2009-01-29 15:45:44 UTC
Version: 1.6.6 (using KDE 3.5.10)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I've chosen "linux" as both the keyboard mapping and the terminal type ($TERM variable).
And infact the keyboard mapping is correct and the $TERM variable gets set to the proper value (that is "linux").
The problem comes when a program tries to display the "line drawing" characters used for the box borders.
While the display is OK on the actual Linux console (CRTL-ALT-F1 from X+KDE), it is messed up with strange characters in Konsole.
The keyboard mapping, instead, is working the same way on both terminals.
I'm using "LANG=en_US.UTF-8" amd Konsole is configured to use the same encoding.
If possible I'll attach a screen snapshot.

Thank-you for the report. Unfortunately Konsole from KDE 3.5.x is no longer supported. If you can reproduce this under KDE 4.2 please let me know.
