Version: (using KDE 4.2.0) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages Hi, i mainly write that bugreport for a friend that just tries out kde 4.2. It seems like in gnome it is possible to copy paste text from a console, when the text is selected. This is handled the following way. when there is text selected, CTRL+C is a normal copy operation. If no text is selected, ctrl+c is the normal abort command. i think that solution isn't too bad.
Copy and paste is done using Ctrl+Shift+C or via Edit -> Copy. We can't use Ctrl+C because that command is used to quit the program currently running in the terminal.
