Version: (using KDE 4.2.0) Compiler: gcc 4.1.2 OS: Linux Installed from: Gentoo Packages Hit "ALT+F2" to bring up the "Run Command" dialog. Type something that doesn't correspond to a program or path on the computer ("kljafhkalsjhfg" works well). Hit "Enter". Expected result: Some sort of feedback. Actual result: Nothing happens.
Since KRunner can do many things and we don't know what the user intended to do, it would be difficult to define a good feedback massage. KRunner goes the other way: It informs the user about what it _can_ do with what they entered, not about what it can _not_ do, which should suffice. If you don't see any result for what you typed, then there is nothing KRunner can do with it.
