Description dave panfil 2009-01-29 05:15:55 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

When installing the nvidia driver for my video card i receive the error KMIX crashed. I can not get a higher resolution than 640 x 480 when using this driver. Also I can not use open GL rendering or I lose video during initialization. forced to use xrendering and the default video driver and can still only achieve 800x600 resolution.Brand new to linux.

The crash bug is a duplicate of bug 174380
Try asking at Ubuntu Forums to get some help to get your NVIDIA drivers work OK :)
