Description Jens Schanz 2009-01-28 23:14:26 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

The "Copy Input To ..." Function should only include the tabs of the active terminal. This feature was implemented in KDE 3.5 konsole.
This will be very helpful for people which have a lot of konsole windows with several tabs open.
In my case i use it in one konsole window with several tabs to administrate a cluster. In 3.5 it was easy to set a shortcut to this function which enables copying of input only to the tabs placed in one konsole window.
Thanks ...

I would prefer the "Copy Input To ..." functionality to remain as-is!

Maybe add a configurable option to filter out other terminals for Jens and other people that doesn't like the current behavior.

The 'Copy To' has been re-written for KDE 4.4. For now, all the sessions are listed but there was thought to add a separator between windows' sessions.

Do not know, how exactly this is rewritten in KDE 4.4 (can not install beta and RC versions this time due to a real lack of time, sorry), but i'd like to repeat the suggestion from the "duplicate bug 198334".

I think this will be the best solution.
And another wish - please, make it possible to bind a hotkey to this action.

Yes please, "select all on current window" would be very helpful to me as well (wouldn't complain about the hot-key either :P).

That 'select all on current window' button is implemented in recent version. Its shortcut is configurable, although set as None by default.
