Version: (using KDE 4.1.4) OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages Maybe it is wish not bug :) Actually I never noticed it, but today my wife called my asking how to save file in Kubuntu. I said – simply type file name and choose extension. She said – there is no place for that. Its only location and filter fields. WTF? Yes, its really like that. Look at save dialog. Look at it like first time KDE user. Don't you think that location is a place (directory) where the file should be saved? Filter – what it means? Does it filter file I'm creating? Maybe, most of you (like me) does not notice it, but for novice users linux/pc users it can be difficult to figure-out how to save file. It makes sense to change text: Location to 'Name' or 'File name' Filter to “Extension” or 'File type'
