Description Jürgen Richtsfeld 2009-01-27 09:29:40 UTC
Version:           1.3.50 (using KDE 4.1.96)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

I'm running a debian lenny svn server with websvn 2.0.
websvn supports reading logs of versioned items as an rss feed. see the first few lines of the xml:

===================
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!-- generator="FeedCreator 1.6" -->
<rss version="2.0">
    <channel>
====================

thunderbird perfectly shows this feeds (copied the URL from the browser) but akregator does not show this feeds (a tooltip message says invalid xml).

Can you give the websvn url (not feed address) ?

I tested the feeds for these pages :

- http://demo.websvn.info/listing.php?repname=WebSVN&path=%2F&
- http://demo.websvn.info/rss.php?repname=WebSVN&path=%2Ftrunk%2Fblame.php&rev=0&isdir=

and didn't notice any problem.

hm. I noticed this problem starting with some kde 4.1 release. about 1 hour after posting this bug it started to work.

sorry, I can't post the URL as it's not accessible from the internet anyway. My first guess was that the URL of the feed caused the problem itself but now I'd say it's not. My 2nd guess would be that the XML contains invalid chars. Next time I experience this problem I'll do a further investigation of the xml content and post it here.
