Description JP Moral 2009-01-26 20:51:29 UTC
Version: 0.10.0-rc1 (using 4.1.4 (KDE 4.1.4), Mandriva Linux release 2009.0 (Official) for i586)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.27.7-desktop586-1mnb

When I start digikam there are no images displayed for any of the albums. Checking them in the file browser confirms that the images do still exist. Problem started when I upgraded from 0.10.0 beta 8 to 0.10.0 rc1. I tried deleting ~/.kde4/share/config/digikamrc but the problem persists.

Do you have an active filter set? Look at the green/red LED on the bottom, click on it if it is red.

Hello, I tried running digikam from the console and for some reason the problem is now fixed. I don't know why, I didn't change anything. But I did try opening and closing digikam before this several times, both from menu and console. Unfortunately I didn't think to copy the console output. Maybe it needed a reboot/fresh login for changes to propagate? Do you still need the output from the console?

If it works now and you can't reproduce, then we cant do any more. Closing for now.

this occurs again in Windows Vista, KDE 4.2.2.
