Description Edwin Boersma 2009-01-26 17:30:57 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.3)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

I have a side panel that is not stretched to the bottom of the screen, but is big enough to hold the widgets. The panel gets larger each time I start KDE. It happens when there is a widget in it; an empty panel stays as it is.

If I click the properties button of the panel, I see that the button to set the lower border is up at the position where the panel should actually end. A touch of that button makes the panel size jump back to the correct size again.

Can you still reproduce this bug with a recent KDE (4.2.1 / 4.2.2 / 4.2svn / 4.3svn) ? Thanks :)

i can't and don't want to install another KDE on this machine, because it is used for my work.

I will try on another machine.

Please keep this bug open.
