Description Gerald Cox 2009-01-24 17:19:51 UTC
Version: 2.0.1 (using KDE 4.1.4)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

My cover art for my music is stored in the directory associated with the particular album. I use the following convention, thumb.jpg for small images, albumartsmall.jpg for medium and cover.jpg for large. Under amarok 1.4 I didn't have an issue, everything appeared to display fine, but under amarok 2 I've noticed that the images appear blurred / distorted. It appears that the default has changed from 1.4 where amarok is now selecting thumb.jpg instead of cover.jpg for it's default images. I've found that I can individually change each cover, but that is a temporary and tedious fix. If I need to reinstall for some reason, I'm back to square one.

The reason is because we choose the last image (alphabetically). We could be cleverer about this.

Any news on this? The bug is unconfirmed since it's report 3 months ago.
